What we do with what you send us

This site has no cookies, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. The only personal information it collects is what you type into the contact form — and this page says exactly what happens to it.

In short

  • We collect your name, email and message when you use the contact form. Phone is optional.
  • We use it to answer you — nothing else. We do not sell it and we do not send marketing you did not ask for.
  • It is stored in OWL’s Google Workspace and kept for six months, then deleted.
  • No cookies. No analytics. No advertising trackers. Nothing stored on your device.
  • Email admin@odenkyemwade.info at any time for a copy, a correction, or deletion.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form on our contact page:

  • Your name and email address — required, because we cannot reply without them.
  • Your phone number — optional, and only used if you tell us you would rather be called.
  • What your enquiry is about, and your message.
  • Which contact method you prefer.

When your message is saved we add three things ourselves: the page it was sent from, the date and time, and a reference number so we can find your enquiry again. The form also contains one hidden field that real browsers leave empty; it exists to catch automated spam and its contents are discarded, never stored.

We do not store your IP address, browser or device. When you send the form we check your network address for a moment, in memory, to count how many messages have come from one place recently and stop automated abuse — we keep only a scrambled, unreadable version of it for up to an hour, never the address itself, and it is never written to a log or attached to your message. Vercel, which serves this site, necessarily sees the network request in order to deliver the page, and keeps short-term operational logs of its own as any host does — we do not read them and they are not part of your enquiry.

Why we use it

To read your enquiry, work out whether OWL is a fit, and reply — usually to arrange a short call. That is the whole purpose. We do not use it to build a profile of you, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use it to train anything.

If we end up working together, that engagement is governed by the agreement we sign, not by this page.

Who sees it

OWL team members who review incoming enquiries. Two service providers handle it on our behalf, both operating on servers in the United States:

  • Vercel — hosts this website and runs the endpoint your message passes through.
  • Google Workspace — where enquiries are stored, using Google Apps Script and Google Sheets.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We would disclose it if we were legally required to, and we would tell you unless we were prohibited from doing so.

How long we keep it

Six months from the day you send it, then it is deleted. If your enquiry becomes a project, the records for that project are governed by our agreement with you and kept for as long as that agreement requires.

What this site does not do

This is worth stating plainly, because it is unusual:

  • No cookies — of any kind, including our own. Nothing to consent to, so there is no consent banner.
  • No analytics and no advertising trackers. We do not measure your visit.
  • Nothing stored on your device. No local storage, no session storage, no fingerprinting.
  • Fonts are served from this site, not from a font provider, so no third party learns you were here from loading them.

Other people’s services

One page loads an image from somewhere else. On our case study page, the pitch-deck cover is served by Heyzine, so your browser contacts Heyzine to fetch it and Heyzine sees your IP address, your browser version and the time. It does not receive your name or anything you type. Every other file on this site comes from us.

The site also links out — to our scheduler, our newsletter, our portfolio, our scope assessment form and a few tools we recommend. Following a link means that service’s own privacy terms apply from that point on. Links to a tool with a referral offer are labelled as referral links where they appear.

Our scope assessment form asks for considerably more than the contact form does. It carries its own privacy and consent section, which applies instead of this page.

Your choices

Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • send you a copy of what you submitted;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete it, before the six months are up.

Email admin@odenkyemwade.info and we will act on it within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm the email address you used, so that we do not hand your enquiry to someone else. There is no charge, and asking costs you nothing else — we will not treat you differently for it.

Children

OWL works with organisations, not children, and this site is not directed at anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this page

If what we do changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. If a change materially affects information you have already sent us, we will contact you rather than rely on you re-reading this.
